Talented siblings: don’t they just make you seethe with jealousy? The Nolans, the Farrellys, the Baldwins (not so much the last lot, except Alec)… they’re about to be joined by Joshua Foer, the brother of Everything Is Illuminated novelist Jonathan Safran Foer.

Paramount Pictures has thrown down the cash for the rights to Joshua’s book Moonwalking With Einstein, his story of how he became a competitive memorizer and ended up winning both the US and World Memory Championships. Whatever their parents were feeding these two, we want some.

The studio will develop the eventual memoir – which Foer is still writing – as a possible film for Mike White to direct.
