A man who bombarded Gwyneth Paltrow with letters and gifts, and turned up at her parents' house, has been convicted of stalking the actress. Dante Michael Soiu was found guilty, but also insane, and was sent to a secure mental institution. The prosecutor of the case, Rhonda Saunders, said that Paltrow was "very frightened" of Soiu, who sent up to five parcels to the actress every day, including "everything from flowers and candy to pornography". She added that Paltrow is "very pleased" with the result.
