Glen Keane is something of a legend in animation circles, thanks to his work on some of Disney's biggest 'toon hits, and an Oscar winner for the Dear Basketball short. He's back with a new film, this time in collaboration with Netflix and China's Pearl Studios called Over The Moon, and it has a trailer online.

Over The Moon, written by Audrey Wells, digs into Chinese legends about a Moon goddess, and ties that to the family of young Fei Fei (newcomer Cathy Ang). Fueled with determination and a passion for science, the bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of the Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures. Yes, we're not expecting this to turn into an Apollo 13-style tale of space struggle, and more a whimsical, emotional and fun film.

It's also a musical, with songs from Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield and Helen Park, and Steven Price on score duty. Boasting the likes of Phillipa Soo, Robert G. Chiu, Ken Jeong and John Cho in its voice cast, the movie will arrive on Netflix this autumn.
