Oscar Isaac is enjoying some time as a man in demand at the moment. He’s recently finished working with the Coens and has entered talks to co-star with Viggo Mortensen in Two Faces Of January.** Drive** writer Hossein Amini has adapted the script from Patricia Highsmith’s novel and is planning to make his directorial debut with the film.
As you might suspect with a Highsmith tome, the story finds a con artist at the centre of a crime, one who has to flee to a foreign country with his wife and a stranger after one of them is involved in the murder of a police officer. There’s no word on who will be playing which role just yet. Although we're pretty sure Isaac won't play the wife.
Amini is looking to kick off shooting at the end of the year. Isaac has a batch of movies set to arrive before then, including The Bourne Legacy (due August 13), the Channing Tatum spearheaded 10 Years and Won’t Back Down. He’s also finished the aforementioned Coen pic Inside** Llewyn Davis**, Therese Raquin alongside Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Felton and is about to get to work on Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego’s thriller Inertia.
