We’ve reported before that Glenn Close plans to turn her acclaimed stage performance in Albert Nobbs into a film. Now the movie has some more cast, with Orlando Bloom, Amanda Seyfried and Jonathan Rhys Meyers all jumping aboard.

Close co-wrote the script with writer John Banville, and the film will roughly follow the same plot: a woman in 19th century Ireland disguises herself as a man in order to survive and work. But her deception leads her to an unusual love triangle and, eventually, to bitterness and regret.

Michael Gambon is also aboard, and Rodrigo Garcia will start directing in Dublin this June.
