Lee "Precious" Daniels is currently shooting his latest film, The Butler, and as it features a performance from Oprah, you can bet your life that she's posted on set pictures from it onto her Instagram account.

Telling the story of a character inspired by real-life White House butler Eugene Allen – the man who waited on nearly a dozen presidents during his lifetime, from Harry Truman in 1952 to Ronald Reagan in 1986 – it stars Forest Whitaker as the lead, Cecil Gaines, supported by some other pretty heavy duty acting talent.

In the Leaders Of The Free World department, John Cusack is Nixon, Robin Williams is Eisenhower, James Marsden is JFK and, as you can clearly see from the photo below, Alan Rickman is Ronald Reagan and Jane Fonda is his wife, Nancy.

Well, perhaps 'clearly' isn't the right word. Just to confirm, the Reagan lookalike on the right is Alan Rickman. As in Hans Gruber, Severus Snape and The Sheriff Of Nottingham. That Alan Rickman.

In another Instagram snap, Oprah posts a clearer image of herself in character (as Cecil's wife, Gloria Gaines) alongside Lenny Kravitz's James Holloway, both of them undoubtedly having the time of their lives.

Other cast members announced include Precious alumna Mariah Carey, as well as Melissa Leo, Cuba Gooding Jr., Liev Schreiber, Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Redgrave, Terrence Howard and many, many more. On scripting duties are Daniels himself and Danny Strong, based on Washington Post writer Wil Haygood's article.

With no date set yet, **The Butler **is earmarked for release at some point in 2013.
