Night at the Museum: Escape From The Smithsonian has landed another comedy legend to add to its already straining roster. As well as (deep breath) Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Bill Hader and Hank Azaria, they've now added Christoper Guest, the director/star of films like This Is Spinal Tap and A Mighty Wind, but who certain people (cough me cough) love best as Count Rogen in The Princess Bride.
Guest will play Ivan the Terrible in the film, the first Tzar of Russia and a man given to fits of violent rage - he accidentally killed his heir in a fury, and had to pass the throne on to his retarded younger son as a result. D'oh!
The film's already shooting - it's the first ever to be given permission to shoot at the Smithsonian itself - and will be out next summer. Shawn Levy is once again directing.
