If the cast of **X-Men: Days Of Future Past **gets much more stuffed, the credit roll at the end will be filled more with actors than even the endless list of CG companies you usually see on big movies. But Bryan Singer has definitely found some great people to add, now recruiting The Intouchables’ Omar Sy for the film.

Sy is the latest in a blend of returning X-veterans and new faces that includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult from** First Class **and Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Anna Paquin from the original X-Men trilogy, plus Peter Dinklage as another character from the comics series, though his exact role is being kept quiet for now.

Thrilled to welcome the brilliant [#OmarSy](https://twitter.com/search/%23OmarSy) from the amazing film [#TheIntouchables](https://twitter.com/search/%23TheIntouchables) to the cast of [#Xmen](https://twitter.com/search/%23Xmen) [#DaysofFuturePast](https://twitter.com/search/%23DaysofFuturePast)! > > — Bryan Singer (@BryanSinger) [March 2, 2013](https://twitter.com/BryanSinger/status/307985293401784321)

The same goes for Sy, who made a splash with the French comedy drama and is now being courted for all sorts of roles. He’s been talked about as a possible co-star for Bradley Cooper in Chef, though that seems to be up in the air at the moment, has worked with Michel Gondry on Mood Indigo and appeared in On The Other Side Of The Tracks.

Singer is busy prepping to make Days Of Future Past, adapted from the iconic X-Men comics run which saw our mutant heroes fighting to stop a future where they’re rounded up and put in internment camps or killed by Sentinels. It’ll hit screens on July 18 next year.
