Though we're going to have to wait a whole year to see Olivia Wilde's much-anticipated directorial follow-up to Booksmart, the good news is that a teaser for Don't Worry Darling is now online. Check out Florence Pugh and Harry Styles in this brief glimpse...

Written by Booksmart's Katie Silberman, working from a spec script by Shane and Carey Van Dyke, Don't Worry Darling is described as a psychological thriller which is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert, with Pugh as a housewife whose reality begins to crack, revealing a disturbing truth underneath.

Wilde is clearly looking to maintain some of the mystery here, which is A Good Thing, though there's plenty to be intrigued about, including Pugh wrapping herself in cling film, a make-out sesh with Styles and some synchronized swimming. Oh, and what sounds like Pugh warbling on the soundtrack. The cast also includes Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll and Timothy Simons.

Don't Worry Darling will be out – in Stateside cinemas at least, we've yet to see an official date for the UK – on 23 September next year.
