Olivia Wilde Is Relanxious

Olivia Wilde falling for Jason Sudeikis? Now Hollywood really is pushing the whole suspension of disbelief thing too far. Err... Unless you believe tabloid tattle about them dating, of course. Still, real-life couple or just friends, they’ll get a chance to demonstrate chemistry in a new indie pic, Relanxious.

The comedy, which marks the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer, finds Sudeikis as George, a man crippled with agoraphobia who just can’t handle leaving his house. He meets (we’re assuming online) Barrett, a woman struggling with her own serious anxiety issues. They become smitten chatting on the phone, talking about the dates they’d enjoy if only they could stomach going out into the world. But as their connection grows, they begin to think about putting aside their problems and finding real love.

Brie Larson, who appears in this week’s 21 Jump Street, is on to play Wilde’s sister, and Sudeikis’ SNL cohort Fred Armisen will play George’s only friend and contact with the outside world. It all kicks off shooting this summer in Chicago.

Wilde has a few movies awaiting release, including Butter, Blackbird and Welcome To People. She’s also just finished shooting The Incredible Burt Wonderstone alongside Steve Carell and has moved on to a role in Ron Howard’s Rush. Sudeikis will be seen in Movie 43 and Jay Roach’s newly retitled political comedy The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis.
