Indie gangster film Criminal Empire For Dummys might have a slightly off-putting name (it’s spelled that way on the title page), but it might just have a good script, since it’s attracted the likes of Gary Oldman, Malin Akerman, Harvey Keitel and Milo Ventimiglia.
**Entourage **writer Cliff Dorfman, who penned that very script and will make his directorial debut based on it, has come up with a new spin on the old “tragic, poor boy rises up from the ghetto to run a multinational drug and crime empire”, with Ventimiglia narrating the dos and don’ts of how to run the organisation.
Michael Clarke Duncan is also on board, and the film will start shooting in New Orleans later this month.
