With Team S.H.I.E.L.D. (both in front of and behind the camera) having put the wheels – spoiler alert – in motion for Bobbi "Mockingbird" Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) to leave Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. in an episode just aired in the States, their spin-off series Marvel's Most Wanted is adding to its cast. Oded Fehr and Fernanda Andrade are now aboard.

Fehr's character is being kept under wraps for now (unless Well Known Marvel Characterman is the most meta name the company ever handed out) but we know he's someone from the comics who will prove to be an antagonist for our heroes. “When Oded came in to read for this part, we knew we found our guy,” says Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb. "He carries with him a villainous charm that will strike perfectly for this role.”

And Andrade, seen in the likes of The Devil Inside, has been cast as Christina Santos, who is the "niece" of Delroy Lindo's wealthy rogue adventurer Dominic Fortune. She'll work with him and the main pair but also has her own agenda. “We needed our Christina to be a strong, beautiful woman who could be a partner to our Dominic Fortune,” says Loeb. “Fernanda brings that and so much more to the role and we’re thrilled to have her.”

Marvel's Most Wanted finds Morse and Hunter on the run with no support, no friends and a long list of enemies who would love to take them down. So the squabbling former spouses must rely on each other... at least until Fortune agrees to protect them so long as they help him out with his plans. Cue a load of dangerous missions and delving into a conspiracy that puts their lives at risk.

With Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski as the co-creators and head writers, the series has yet to announce a slot on the schedule. Could it end up taking Agent Carter's place (sob!) in between S.H.I.E.L.D. seasons? That's still to be decided.
