Hello there! It's surely the only response to news that we will finally, actually be able to start watching Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ in May, according to news from the Mouse House and the first official poster for the series.
When in May, you might be asking... Despite May the 4th being right there, Lucasfilm and Disney have decided that 25 May is the ideal date. But we can sort of understand the logic, since that was the day that the original Star Wars first blew audience's minds when it arrived in American cinemas.
Story details are being kept on Tatooine for their own safety (though Tatooine is far from the safest location in that galaxy far, far away), and all we really know right now is that the plot will pick up with Ewan McGregor's Jedi master a few years after Revenge Of The Sith, when he's still dealing with the aftermath of betrayal by Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen, who will also appear).
The cast includes Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie, with Deborah Chow directing the six-episode series and Joby Harold among the writers.
So yes... Expect Obi-Wan to arrive in May.
