The cast of the Farrelly brothers’ latest comedy, Hall Pass, just keeps swelling, with lanky genius Stephen Merchant and Curb Your Enthusiasm’s JB Smoove signing on.
Hall Pas****s’s plot, for anyone who has forgotten, features two married men (Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis) thinking they’ve struck it lucky when their wives decide to spice up their marriages by handing them free passes to have romantic encounters elsewhere. Trouble is, it’s not just the husbands that get to use them.
Merchant and Smoove are playing friends of the central pair, with Jenna Fischer as one of the wives and Amanda Bynes as a girl they meet on the way.
Merchant will no doubt hope this one turns out better than his last US comedy role, Tooth Fairy…
