James Bond – Spectre – Daniel Craig

When Spectre hit the big screen back in 2015, many thought it might be the final outing for Daniel Craig’s incarnation of James Bond – perhaps including the man himself. But in 2020, he’ll be donning the tux once again as the iconic British super-spy in Cary Joji Fukunaga’s No Time To Die – the 25th Bond movie, and Craig’s fifth time playing 007. And there’s plenty for the film to delve into – with Spectre closing out on Bond driving off into the sunset with Lea Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann, and the film’s plot resurrecting the legendary villainous organisation of classic 007 lore. This time he’ll be menaced by Rami Malek’s villain – and judging by this exclusive image, as seen in Empire’s upcoming 2020 Preview Issue, he’ll be leaving our hero battered and bruised.

No Time To Die – Bond 25 – Exclusive

This shot sees Bond more dressed-down than we often find him – no suit, no bow tie, just a scuffed-up (formerly) white top, a natty pair of braces, and a harness to holster his iconic Walther PPK. And with a bloody forehead and a ripped shoulder seam, we’re betting he hasn’t been simply mired in MI6 paperwork.

That’s just one of the exciting exclusives to be found in Empire’s upcoming 2020 Preview Issue, arriving on Thursday 31 October and bringing you the ultimate guide to (and first looks at) the most exciting movies of the coming year. Stay tuned for more on No Time To Die soon – and catch the film when it arrives in UK cinemas on 2 April 2020.
