He may still be best known for playing a cop on NYPD Blue, and his last on-screen appearance was in Port Authority Police uniform in World Trade Center, but Nicholas Turturro is switching careers.
He’ll play one of the firefighter buddies of Adam Sandler and Kevin James in I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, which director Dennis Dugan is currently shooting in LA. Turturro is joining a cast that also already includes Steve Buscemi, Jessica Biel and Dan Aykroyd.
