Is Robert Carlyle the nicest man in film today? That's the question fans are asking after reading an interview in today's Daily Mail in which the star admits that he's a big softy when it comes to spreading his wealth around. 'Three years ago I bought [my dad] a house.' Carlyle admitted to the paper. 'On the night we gave him the keys, my wife and I went to an electrical store and bought up the place.
