Brian Dennehy, RZA and eight year-old moppet, Ty Simpkins, have joined the cast of Paul Haggis’ new film, The Next Three Days.
The film, a remake of the French thriller Pour Elle, stars Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks as a married couple whose world is turned upside down when she’s jailed, **A-Team **style, for a crime she didn’t commit.
Dennehy, the great character actor, hasn’t actually signed on yet, but is in negotiations to play Crowe’s dad, while Simpkins will play their son. No word yet on who RZA, the rapper-turned-actor, will be in the movie.
Filming starts next week in Pittsburgh.
