This year's belated check-in with Vin Diesel's Xander Cage for xXx: Return Of Xander Cage may not have opened a wide variety of wallets in the States, but worldwide the movie did more than $346 million. So someone is now going to bankroll a fourth entry in the series.
Leading off a Variety story about production-financing entity (wake up!) H Collective splashing the cash to make a number of projects comes word that the as-yet-untitled new xXx is one of those that will benefit, with the company also making deals to distribute the films in China (where Return Of Xander Cage, for example, took in $146 million of its total earnings).
Nothing is known about the film yet beyond the fact that it will exist and Diesel will star, but if you wanted to see him use a baking tray to slide down the side of a mountain or something, you'll be happy.
Among the other projects seeing a monetary infusion are drama The Parts You Lose, due to star Aaron Paul and A Children's Song, about a tune's history leading to new discoveries.
