Roll up, roll up for your daily dose of the warm and fuzzies, for the New York Times has laid its Gotham-based mitts on new stills from Where The Wild Things Are, Spike Jonze's long-awaited, longer-gestating adaptation of Maurice Sendak's picture book.
With pics of Max, Carol, Alexander and the other Wild Things in meditative mood, windblown desertscapes, typhoon-tossed seas and a giant dune-climbing puppy, they're beautiful to behold, and continue to suggest that this is a movie that'll appeal much more to the heart and soul than the adrenal gland.
