Remember last week, when Michael Bay put up a new, behind-the-scenes shot from Transformers: Age Of Extinction that featured him at the controls of a massive, canon-like camera? And we snarked that we hoped someone else would get a look-in soon, even if those robots in disguise were in their trailers (or, you know, being their trailers)? Bay has responded pictorially, releasing a new image of stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor on his official site.
With shooting still in progress, Age Of Extinction’s exact story is still being kept quiet (probably the only quiet thing about it given the director), but we do know that human meddling with Transformers technology paints a huge target on the Earth’s bum and that Optimus and co will have to step in once more. Oh, and the Dinobots are involved.
Wahlberg plays a struggling inventor and single father to Tessa (Peltz) who in turn is dating racing driver Shane (Reynor). The picture apparently finds them either quizzically looking for something or earning extra cash as catalogue models.
Kelsey Grammer is bad guy Harold Attinger, with Sophia Myles, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, Titus Welliver, Bingbing Li, Victoria Summer and Geng Han all aboard. If the idea of Dinobots and more Transformers action has you excited, Age Of Extinction will arrive in our cinemas on June 27 next year.
