If you saw one of the 12 – yep, 12 – character posters released on Monday to pump us all up for the return of Vin Diesel's Xander Cage in, er, xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, you know that the trailer was due to leap its way into our eyes. It has arrived and can be watched below.
This time around finds extreme sports nut and occasional government operative Cage brought out of self-imposed exile to find and take on new warrior Xiang (Donnie Yen) and his group of skilled fighters who have stolen a seemingly unstoppable weapon that carries the somewhat unoriginal moniker Pandora's Box. See, it's a device that can control all the military satellites in the world, and definitely not something you want in the wrong hands.
So, at the behest of Samuel L. Jackson's Agent Augustus Gibbons and Toni Collette's Jane Marke, Xander agrees to do his thang. But he won't be backed up by any old governmental candy asses, oh no: he recruits his own team of likeminded rebels.
With Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose and Rory McCann also in the cast, xXx: Return Of Xander Cage will be out in the UK in January.
