Following a healthy life on the festival circuit, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead's dark romance Spring is finally approcahing its general release. With that in mind, here's a new trailer, in which Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker begin their unusual Italian dalliance. See if it's the kind of crazy you can deal with.
Spring sees Pucci (Evil Dead) as Evan, who takes a head-clearing trip to Europe following some personal drama. There he meets Hilker's Louise and persists in winning her over, despite her misgivings about getting into a relationship thanks to a rare condition she's suffering.
The trailer teases the information that Evan can't see Louise in the daytime and that she seems to start smoking in direct light (and not in the cigarette sense). But if you think what's going on is obvious, we'd suggest you keep an open mind...
After several short films - including the 'Bonestorm' segment of VHS: Viral, Spring is Benson and Moorhead's feature debut. The pair are also among the producers, and Benson has the screenplay credit. It's out in the US on March 20, and a few weeks later in the UK on April 17.
