Life in the suburbs can sometimes get complicated, but that's nothing compared to what Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel Hammond (Timothy Olyphant) are going through. In the time since she died and came back to life... well, un-life, the pair and daughter Abby (Liv Hewson) have been dealing with Sheila's ever present craving for flesh. It's an issue that will continue to cause issues in the third season of Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet, which has a trailer on the web.
As the third season dawns, the Hammonds think they starting to get more of a handle on things, but twists and turns are coming. Learning she's effectively immortal, Sheila pitches the idea of turning Joel so they can be together forever. He's not quite so convinced.
And then there are those who know something about Sheila's condition, and will act to take her down. All that, plus the constant moral crisis of killing people to serve her need to snack on human body parts...
Santa Clarita Diet returns to the streaming service on 29 March.
