That hole in the floor has been dug up again, allowing Keanu Reeves to tool up for John Wick: Chapter 2. We saw a trailer from the New York Comic-Con a couple of months ago. Now there's a new one. The contract has gone international. You have no idea what's coming.
The plot remains somewhat obsure despite the footage on show, but it appears that our man Wick is on the back foot this time, in a revenge plot that's specifically targeting him (as opposed to last time's accidental awakening). But what's certain is that it's carnage again, obviously, with the addition of what looks to be a meaty car chase. Fingers crossed no animals are harmed this time. Not sure we'd cope.
Chad Stahelski directs solo on this occasion, with Ian McShane and Lance Reddick also back from Chapter One. The cast also includes Common, Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo and Ruby Rose. John Wick: Chapter 2 hits US cinemas on 10 February next year, and then heads here on 17 February.
