Here's another quick look at Steven Spielberg's upcoming The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn, due out on October 26 this year. A Dutch site has scored a picture of Tintin working with his faithful companion Snowy, in what looks like the Venetian library that Indiana Jones visited in The Last Crusade.
The film, as everyone knows by now, is based on elements from three of the enormously popular Tintin books by Belgian cartoonist Herge. These stories will see Tintin and Snowy meet the drunken Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) and investigate ne'er-do-wells who are trying to discover the whereabouts of the Unicorn, a treasure ship sunk by the dastardly Red Rackham (Daniel Craig) centuries before.
It's all performance-captured in an Avatar stylee, produced by Peter Jackson and scripted by the winsome combination of Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. The film also stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Cary Elwes and Daniel Mays.
