It’s a little tough to tell whether this is a poster for Taken 2, since the two is so very subtle… OK, OK, we kid, and we really worry about having anything with “kid” in this story, since that could lead to kidnapping and that’s one thing that makes Liam Neeson’s Bryan Mills VERY ANGRY. So we’ll just say that the poster is moody and stony and you can see it below.
It would certainly seem as though Luc Besson, director Olivier Megaton and the marketing team for the Taken sequel have decided the way to go: lots of Liam Neeson looking serious, holding a gun. In this case, it's the French poster.
And let’s face it, you can’t really go wrong with that, especially when the movie itself features the return of Mr Mills, and more trouble for his family. This time around, crime boss Murad (Rade Serbedzija) decides to get a little revenge on our hero for all the men he killed when the slave traders swiped his daughter. The new target? Bryan’s other half (Famke Janssen) and this time, former kidnapee Kim (Maggie Grace) will have a bit of a more active role in helping get her back.
The first trailer can be seen below. The film itself arrives on October 5.
