The first trailer for Netflix's mystery-laden new series Stranger Things focused on Winona Ryder's worried mother. She's still a big part of this new one, but it also ups the Amblin '80s movie vibe. Take a look below.
Stranger Things is set in the sleepy 'burb of Hawkins, Indiana in 1983. Rarely does much happen here, but one day young Will (Noah Schnapp) goes missing after a night spent playing Dungeons And Dragons. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery.
Featuring the likes of Matthew Modine, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton and Natalia Dyer, Stranger Things hails from Matt and Ross Duffer, who directed last year's thriller Hidden and worked on Wayward Pines. As per Netflix's usual style, all of the initial eight episodes will be available on July 15.
