Hybrid directing entity Neveldine / Taylor have been offering their next set of wares around Hollywood, with reports emerging that the follow-up to the Crank series and last year's bizarro Gamer will be titled Cash Money Dollars.
There aren't many details yet, but by all accounts the pitch involves a dodgy private detective from LA, a kick-ass female CIA spook from New York, and an African-American Texas Ranger, teaming up to save the yoonited states from a wave of terrorist attacks.
Heroes versus terrorists sounds kind of ordinary, but these are the people who put a giant papier mache head on Jason Statham and got Dexter Morgan to mime to Sammy Davis Jr. Frankly, anything is possible. Do not rule out a screaming head-on collision between a film noir, a spy thriller and a western.
Warner, Disney, Fox, Sony and Dreamworks all got to hear the presentation. Which of them (if any) said yes is for a future story...
