There was a really bad scan of this online last week, but Aintitcool has now debuted a hi-res version of the new poster for Prince Caspian, the sequel to The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. You can see their bigger version by clicking the image below.
One thing that's been picked up on is that this poster gives the first look at Reepicheep, a character beloved by fans of the book. He's that little mouse in the lower-right corner with a sword and a feather. The one that looks a little like a stabby rodent showgirl. Reepicheep, who'll be voiced in the movie by the marvellous Eddie Izzard, is a descendent of the mice who gnawed through the ropes that bound Aslan to the stone table after he was captured by the White Witch.
Other than that, this poster looks in keeping with the more grown up tone that the trailer suggested. As the first film showed, these are essentially children's movies – the first played to young to hold our interest – but we're hoping Prince Caspian holds enough for grown ups too.
