You have probably already have seen the teaser poster that Disney/Pixar released for the companies’ latest** Toy Story** short, Toy Story That Time Forgot, which arrived online during this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. To follow that up, Entertainment Weekly has debuted the full poster for the TV special.
Looking to build on the strong start from last year’s horror-spoofing Toy Story Of Terror, the new short finds Tom Hanks’ Woody and Tim Allen’s Buzz facing a new problem thanks to Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd). He's the leader of a group of dino-toys our heroes meet and who turn out to be suffering a similar delusion that once afflicted Tim Allen’s Buzz: they think they’re real. And when you have dinosaurs believing they exist, you know there will be trouble, especially for poor triceratops Trixie (Kristen Schaal)...
Given how well the Halloween TV special bottled the character-focused appeal of the Toy Story world, we’re hopeful for this one, which also features the voices of Wallace Shawn, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles and Joan Cusack. The special will be on American screens on December 2, and, with luck, out around the same time here.
