Behold the brand spanking new poster for the latest installment of Street Fighter action - Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
Role call from top to bottom we have... Desperate Housewives stalwart Neal McDonough as big bad M. Bison, Black Eyed Pea Taboo as masked Spaniard Vega, Michael Clarke Duncan as knuckle-dragging boxer Balrog, Terminator Salvation's Moon Bloodgood as Maya, Smallville star and fast-kicking heroine Kristen Kreuk as Chun-Li herself and Chris Klein as Nash.
Here's a little Street Fighter trivia for you: M. Bison was originally the name of Balrog, the boxer. Vega, the effete, claw-wielding fence-climber, was called Balrog and the big boss was once called Vega. However, when the Street Fighter II game received its US release in 1991, legal eagles took issue with a character called M. Bison who so clearly resembled a certain M. Tyson. Thus the names were duly shuffled to avoid any nasty copyright issues. Quite why they felt the need to switch all three characters' names to remedy the misnomer is anyone's guess.
