Following the Oscar-winning success of horror thriller Get Out, writer/director Jordan Peele has been at work on a variety of projects, mostly as producer. But he's been back behind the camera for a new movie, called US, promising more socially-themed terror. And it has a fresh poster online.
Many of the details have been shrouded in mystery until recently, Peele looking to keep the suspense intact. But we have learned a little about it via a tentative plot synopsis that emerged online this week. The film reportedly follows a family led by Lupita Nyong'o and fellow Black Panther veteran Winston Duke heading to a beach house in order to relax, unplug from their devices and reconnect with each other. Some friends (including Elisabeth Moss) are along for the trip, but as night descends, serenity turns to tension after the arrival of some shocking, uninvited visitors. From the looks of the poster, it could get very odd, and quite sharp indeed...
The likes of Aquaman's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and comedian/actor Tim Heidecker are also aboard, and US will stalk into UK cinemas on 15 March.
