Rob Marshall's new musical movie **Nine *is shaping up to deliver a big dollop of la dolce vita *into all our lives early next year, and looks like packing enough glitz and glamour to interest even the weariest of souls.
With Nine's Rome and Shepperton shoot now wrapped, EW has a pic showing new singing sensation Daniel Day-Lewis in action as struggling film director Guido Contini alongside one of his comely coterie, Kate Hudson's *Vogue *journalist Stephanie Necrophuros.
**Nine **channels the negroni-and-nightmares existentialism of Fellini's 8½ into a catwalk of A-list songstresses, with Hudson, Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Marion Cotillard and, er, Fergie (sadly not that one), joining Day-Lewis for the big singing numbers.
Harvey Weinstein has high Oscars hope for it and with those credentials and Marshall's monster **Chicago **success in mind, who'd bet against it?

**Nine **is released in the US on November 25.
