USA Today has scored seven images, a mix of on-set and final stills, from Richard Kelly's next movie The Box. You can click here to see them (click on the 'Photos' link on that page).

We didn't realise that this was going to be set in the '70s, even though it's based on Richard Mattheson's short story from that era. But those are some rocking sideburns James Marsden has there and Cameron Diaz looks more Charlie's Angels here than she did in those two movies.

In The Box, based on an episode of The Twilight Zone, Diaz and Marsden play a couple who find a box on their doorstep. It tells them that if they push the button on top of it, they will receive a million dollars. However, somebody they don't know will...dun dun dun duuuh...die. Obviously they press it. Strangers aren't worth a million dollars. In the seventies, that would buy a lot of shoes with goldfish in the heel.

After the cult hit of Donnie Darko and the cult flop of Southland Tales, Kelly says that with this he plans "to make a more mainstream popcorn film," but says that doesn't mean he's "watering myself down". You can read more about the film on USA Today's site, here.
