It's one of those clips that's basically a trailer with a tiny bit of talking-head making-of discussion, but a new featurette for teen sci-fi actioner **I Am Number Four has just arrived online.

Director DJ Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye), and young stars Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron provide their two-penn'orth on the story and the film's selling points, interspersed with a bit of behind-the-scenes and some glimpses of the finished action. We're getting Jumper flashbacks, but the alumni seem confident that the "action and the love story" are going to sweep us away.

The story, for those unaware so far, involves superpowered aliens-on-the-run, posing as American high school students in order to hide out, but finding that intergalactic planetary trouble has followed them. Pettyfer is the fourth of the aliens (hence the name), with the always excellent (except in Hitman, but that wasn't his fault) Timothy Olyphant as his Ben Kenobi.

**I Am Number Four **is an adaptation of the novel by "Pittacus Lore", a pseudonym for Jobie Hughes and Million Little Pieces fantasist James Frey, optioned well before the book's publication. The screenplay is by Smallville's Al Gough and Miles Miller, with subsequent tinkering by Buffy scribe Marti Noxon. It's out on February 18.
