With the arrival of a new Doctor in the TARDIS, and a new regime on the creative end of Doctor Who, we usually expect to see some fresh iconography. And so it has come to pass as Jodie Whittaker takes over the role and Chris Chibnall becomes the show's boss. You can see the new Doctor (albeit in silhouette) and her logo above, with an introductory teaser for the logo lower down the page.
Whittaker becomes the 13th Doctor (you know they don't count the War Doctor), and will be joined on her journeys by Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill, with Sharon D. Clarke in a recurring role.
Little else has been revealed about what Whittaker's Doctor will get up to, but with any luck, the breath of fresh air both in front of and behind the camera will help to re-invigorate the series once again.
The show will be back on our screens this autumn for another 10 episodes.
