New Line is hoping it has the cure for Infection.

It’s the latest in a long line of Japanese films grabbed as remake fodder. The US version, which will be adapted by Walking Tall writer Channing Gibson, will be set in an isolated hospital where the staff tackles mistakes and cover-ups as they hunt the deadly disease, which turns out to be supernatural in origin. Ooooh, didn't see that coming.
