In 1770, Captain Cook navigating the eastern fringes of the Australian continent mapping the coastline, counting wombats and generally dicing with death in an intrepid and largely clunge-free voyage. Two hundred and forty four years later, Jay, Will, Simon and Neil will be trying to rectify that oversight in **The Inbetweeners 2 **when they land Down Under with “puss-ay” in mind and a wad of Aussie dollars in their pockets. The movie has a new trailer that you can enjoy/savour/cringe in horror from below.
Boardshort wankers and bongo players beware, because the foursome are touching down in Australia to pursue fauna of an entirely different kind. Alongside Gap Yah types, Bryon Bay hippies and party-hardy Aussies, all the old staples will be present and (in)correct. There'll be jokes about Will's mum, Simon still has girlfriend issues and Jay is one joke from prison.
Say The Inbetweeners' creators, writing/directing team Iain Morris and Damon Beesley: "We're especially happy with the trailer as we think it's funny and - we promise - none of the best jokes are in it. None. We did that so that hopefully you'll still get surprised in the cinema, and enjoy the film even more."
James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and Simon Bird are back in front of the camera, joined by recent Star Wars addition Daisy Ridley, Celeste Cotton, David Schaal, Larissa Jones and Susan Wokoma. The Inbetweeners 2 is set to bother our cinemas on August 6.
