New Your Highness Trailer Online

You've seen the sweary red-band version, but now here's a safe-for-work green-band trailer for **Your Highness, the fantasy farce starring Danny McBride, James Franco, Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel and Justin Theroux. Not that a tamer version makes the final film any more suitable for your eight-year-old nephew. But he'd love it if you took him to see it anyway.

If you don't know by now, you can almost certainly glean from the trailer that this looks to be a sword-and-sorcery comedy of the highest order, involving a valiant prince (Franco) and his asshat stoner brother (McBride) on a quest to rescue Princess Belladonna (Deschanel) from Theroux's evil wizard-in-training Leezar. Portman is the amazon warrioress they pick up along the way.

This trailer actually isn't that different from the last one, and does an equally good job of selling the silliness. Other than the removal of the f-bombs though, there have been some interesting changes to Portman's medieval undergarments (we study these things hard, for your benefit). Last time, under the waterfall, she was sporting a very fetching metal thong, but it's been "enhanced" this time around into something more modest. Ach well, there's always the Darjeeling Limited DVD.

Your Highness, directed by David Gordon Green, is out on June 24 next year. Apple has the green-band trailer (along with a poster that seems to be "homaging" Antoine Fuqua's King Arthur), but if you prefer the profanity and Portman-flesh version, cast your browser back a few weeks.
