New Harry Potter Teaser Trailer

It may have been moved back to July 17 2009, but here is a little something to whet your appetites for Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.

Starring the usual team of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Half-Blood Prince is an adaptation of the sixth Harry Potter book and, of course, is the one where [CENSORED] and then Harry has to watch as [CENSORED] to [CENSORED].

Yep, really. It's that explosive. And the teaser is a huge advance on the audio-only teaser that played with The Dark Knight in theatres. This time, not only do we get to see Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) deliver that line - "Once again, I must ask too much of you, Harry." - to Daniel Radcliffe's Harry.

In fact, the teaser is very Dumbledore-centric - not only do we get to see shots of the Hogwarts head honcho wielding his wand and looking more Gandalf-esque than ever, but he dominates the teaser with voiceover.

Director David Yates seems to be, once again, taking the series in a darker and more mature direction, although the final gag should indicate that it's not all going to be doom and gloom.

Check out the international trailer here. Bear in mind, though, that this has leaked onto the internet and isn't an official Warner Bros. release at the moment. When the finished version pops, expect a full trailer breakdown then.
