New Hanna Poster Arrives

So far, the Focus Features team haven’t put a foot wrong with their marketing for Joe Wright’s latest, Hanna. And this poster continues that run, focusing on Saoirse Ronan’s striking blue eyes and frosty stare.

Hanna finds Ronan as a girl raised by her ex-CIA father (Eric Bana) in the forests of Finland to be the perfect assassin. Trained to be a merciless killer, she’s dispatched into the world at large on a mission, and soon comes up against the equally ruthless Cate Blanchett, an operative who has her own reasons to be interested in the dangerous young woman.

But even as she gets close to her main target, Hanna starts to have real questions about her past, and, more importantly, her future. And she’s in for a shock when she learns some hard truths.

The trailer for the thriller makes it look fantastic, and the eye-grabbing new image works well too; anyone else reminded of that iconic National Geographic cover? Check it out below and let us know your thoughts.

Hanna hunts down our screens on April 8.
