Not judging based on appearances is a lesson that several animated and family movies have taken to their core, but here comes Blue Sky and 20th Century Fox's take, which aims to turn an old story into a fresh new 'toon. Check out the new trailer for Ferdinand below.

Inspired by the 1936 children's book The Story Of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, the film introduces us to Ferdinand (John Cena), a giant bull with an even bigger, softer heart. Rather than getting in the bullfighting ring, he's happy to spend time making friends and smelling flowers. But when he's mistaken for a dangerous beast, he's captured and taken from his home. To get back, he'll need help from a misfit team and more courage than he's used to summoning.
