Three new stills from Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus have been released, giving us a glimpse of Heath Ledger in action as conman Tony, in his last movie appearance. Also featured are Christopher Plummer's thousand-year-old Doctor P and the ethereal Lily Cole as the doctor's even more ethereal daughter Valentina.
Terry Gilliam's first film in four years promises us something typically chock full of magic and wonder, in the same fantastical spirit of Time Bandits and The Adventures Of Baron Munchause. And, with the help of Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell who each stood in as Tony after Ledger's death, it should prove a fitting valediction for the Australian actor as well.

The film tells the tale of Doctor Parnassus, a travelling showman who has promised his daughter to the devil on her 16th birthday, in exchange for his eternal youth. As her birthday approaches, Parnassus makes a new bet with the devil and promises his daughter's hand to whoever can help him win it.
