Daredevil season 2

We've had one previous main trailer and some short teasers for the new characters. Now comes the latest look at Daredevil's second season, which promises to be even more explosive and character-driven than the first. Check it out right here{ =nofollow}.

In the new footage, we get a lot more of Elodie Yung's Elektra, who re-enters Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) life with the offer of information about one of his biggest criminal enemies. And while these two have a past, they also seem to connect fairly well in the present, despite the potential trouble it will bring.

Plus, Matt is tormented with guilt (what's new?) over the idea that his actions as a vigilante have opened the door to new criminals (included ninja group The Hand, as briefly explained by old mentor Stick, played by returning guest star Scott Glenn) and Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), someone who could be an ally if he didn't insist on shooting everyone on his murderous campaign of vengeance.

And let's not forget Matt's stalwart friends and work colleagues, including Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and even Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), who are all worried about or angry with our hero. Or both. The new season arrives on Netflix on March 18. For more on the new season, pick up the latest Empire, on sale in UK stores now.
