We had to wait until the end of the entire first season to see Matt Murdock finally appear in his Daredevil costume. But the delay hasn't been so long for Jon Bernthal's Punisher. Before Daredevil's second series even gets underway, we've now got a glimpse of that trademark skull from this new poster.
The Punisher's look would appear to be a simple one to crack on screen, but it's still seen some variation. Dolph Lundgren didn't wear the skull at all. Thomas Jane's was on a t-shirt that his son gave him. It wasn't until Ray Stevenson that it appeared sprayed onto some body armour. That looks to be what's going on here too. The narrative reason for Frank Castle actually choosing to do that to his kevlar this time remains to be seen.
This poster also gives us a new look at Elodie Yung as Elektra. That outfit makes her look a bit like Mortal Kombat's Mileena to our eyes. But it's certainly more real-world practical than Elektra's get-up in the comics (or indeed, in the Jennifer Garner film).
