A Friday afternoon treat for comic-book fans, World War II fans, blockbuster afficionados and all you ladies out there: new pictures are online for Captain America, with Chris Evans as the patriotic* hero, fresh from EW's latest issue.
The film of course sees Evans play super-keen but super-weeny soldier Steve Rogers, who's transformed into the perfect fighter by Dr Erskine's (Stanley Tucci) Super Soldier Serum and immediately gets all buff 'n' stuff (that's the bit for the ladies). Then it's off to win WWII for our boys and girls - with Hayley Atwell's Major Peggy Carter notably among the latter. They're all pitched against villainous evil doers like Hugo Weaving's Johann Schmidt, whose face later gets a bit melty and crimson, turning him in to Red Skull.
