With Sony's Spidey crew packing their spideywear and toothbrushes for Comic-Con next week, Entertainment Weekly has a fresh look at Andrew Garfield suited up as everyone's favourite wallhanger in The Amazing Spider-Man.
If you're lucky enough to be in San Diego and can squeeze into whichever rammed hall Garfield, director Marc Webb and co will be appearing in, you'll get a first proper glimpse at how the "more contemporary, grittier" Spidey reboot is shaping up. Or you could just stay home and gaze lovingly at the perfectly-coiffed Garfield looking all focused in the new issue of EW.

As Webb tells EW, it's a new take on Spidey's origin story: “Ultimately what this movie is about is a kid who grows up looking for his father and finds himself. And that’s a Spider-Man story we haven’t seen before.”
Look out for more on the movie in the next issue of Empire, onsale on July 28. **The Amazing Spider-Man **swings into your local multiplex next summer.
