Liam Neeson is circling all sorts of work at the moment. When he’s not jumping into animation or starring in crime thrillers, he’s considering Seth MacFarlane’s new comedy Western, A Million Ways To Die In The West. And, even though MacFarlane turned him into a bear-craving, Tiffany-obsessed dancing pervert in Ted, Giovanni Ribisi seems happy to keep working with MacFarlane, as he’s also jumped aboard.

MacFarlane, who is still getting mixed reviews for his Oscar hosting stint this year, has co-written the new film, which he’ll direct and star in. He plays Albert, a sheepish sheep farmer who chickens out of a duel and is dumped by his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried). He decides to learn how to shoot in order to win her back, and engages the help of a sharpshooting outlaw’s wife (Charlize Theron). But trouble strikes when he falls for her and her violent hubby (Neeson) returns.

Ribisi will be Albert’s pal Edward, a shoe repairman whose girlfriend is a working prostitute happy to have sex with everyone but him (yeah, this is a MacFarlane film all right). He tries to help his friend get back on the dating scene.

With a script co-written by Ted team Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, A Million Ways To Die In The West will kick off shooting in May. Ribisi, last seen in Gangster Squad, will next show up in A Many Splintered Thin****g. Neeson will be heard in Khumba and The Nut Job and is getting set to work on Scott Frank’s latest,** A Walk Among The Tombstone**s.
