Natalie Morales should seriously be considered for Empire's 27-Percenters club, someone who pops up in projects and always make them better. She's appeared in a host of TV shows and films that you've enjoyed (including Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Dead To Me and Parks And Recreation), and having directed several TV episodes, she's now stepping up to direct her first film, Plan B.
Written by Prathi Srinivasan and Joshua Levy, the story finds a strait-laced high school student and her slacker best friend who, after a regrettable first sexual encounter, have 24 hours to hunt down a Plan B pill in America’s heartland.
Morales is looking to kick off shooting next month in Syracuse, New York, though the cast hasn't been announced yet. Hulu is backing the film, which likely means it'll debut on the streaming service. As for her acting career, Morales will next be seen in Warner Bros. drama The Little Things, which stars Denzel Washington and Rami Malek.
